Day 7 Subject: Time to share your video, [firstname] Hey [firstname], Yesterday, I told you how to turn an article into a video, but I asked you to leave it overnight. Why? Because when you make a video, you can become too “close” and fail to see what's obviously wrong with it. By looking at it again with a fresh pair of eyes, you can spot any mistakes and correct them before it's too late. Once you're satisfied, save the video as an MP4 file on your computer's hard drive. To upload your video you'll need to open an account with Google. It's free, and fairly simple. If you already have a Gmail address, you'll be automatically be able to set up a YouTube account. Follow the instructions for setting up a channel. It should contain at least two key words, or be your business name. Next, you should follow the on-screen instructions for uploading a video (they're quite straightforward). Lastly, upload the article as a text file and sync it with the captions. This last step is very important as it will get your video indexed faster. Watch the video back, and when you're happy with it, click the “publish” button. It will go live right away. I've only been able to scratch the surface of making a YouTube video in this e-mail series; for more information please see Chapter 3 of my zero-cost traffic guide. Once you've implemented both of the strategies I've discussed over the past week, you should start to see some traffic to your website or blog. The next step is to implement further zero-cost strategies so that you're getting traffic from a variety of sources. To your success! Warmly, [Your Name] PS. I've still got a few copies of my zero-cost traffic guide left, but they're going fast. In it, I go into more detail about the two strategies I've talked about in these e-mails – plus a whole lot more (including some that not many other people are using right now). Grab your copy before it's too late from [link to sales page].
